What you will be doing: Operational Technical Support Engineer
o Developing understanding of troubleshooting and triaging of hybrid cloud (AWS) infrastructure
o Providing monitor and alert against critical service architecture
o Invoke the incident management process
o Develop understanding of the interdependencies of the platform
o Develop skills to drive incidents to mitigation
o Collaborate with key stakeholders to help facilitate productivity
o Contribute to documentation evolution
The successful Aevi'ator: Junior Operational Technical Support Engineer
o Foundational computer science knowledge
o Willingness to develop an understanding of customer centric decision making
o Awareness of the use case of tools such as GIT, Grafana, Bitbucket, WildFly, Java, Docker, Zabbix, & Newrelic
o Developing relevant practical programming skills (Python, Bash scripting etc)
o Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
o Ability to develop knowledge through workshops, SOPs and runbooks
o Collaborative team ethic, operating within a shift model
It bonus if you have:
o Payment industry experience, particularly in a client facing remit
o TCP/IP networking knowledge
o SQL / Aurora knowledge
o Android application knowledge
o Linux Administration skills
o English fluency is required, other languages are beneficial
